KARACHI: Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Dr Asim Hussain on Saturday said the government is contemplating a month-long closure of CNG stations in Sindh due to acute shortage of gas.
Speaking to the media in Karachi, the petroleum minister said that the country was facing an extreme shortage of natural gas, and ‘tough’ decisions need to be made to curb the situation.
The decision is not yet final, and the option is being seriously considered, he told reporters at a ceremony organized by the Ziauddin Ahmad Memorial Society.
